The first edition of the Speedball textbook, was published back in 1915 by Ross F. George. The textbook is an excellent resource for calligraphers and artists of all ages and abilities. This new edition sees the collaboration of three editors working together, to produce a book that covers techniques and instructions for the reader.
The book itself is laid out in a spiral bound binding, meaning it can lay flat whilst you read from the book itself. There are 120 pages of examples, contributors work and technical insights which help to guide and inspire you. The Speedball textbook will appeal to calligraphers of all abilities and is a must have for anyone starting out.
