Prout’s Brown Ink ;
- A medium brown non-waterproof drawing ink that dries to a satin finish
- C Roberson was commissioned to produce this ink by Samuel Prout (1783-1852) a draughtsman who painted the buildings of Western Europe in fine detail
- It is a semi opaque lightfast ink consisting of Vandyke crystals, ammonium carbonate and water
- Lightfast and non-waterproof
- Supplied in a 30ml glass screw top jar.
